KCR Will Give Fitting Reply To BJP: Owaisi

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen President Asaduddin Owaisi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will not be able to secure the win in the next Assembly elections as that of the GHMC elections.

In the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) secured victory in 55 divisions and the Bharatiya Janata Party won in 48 divisions. The AIMIM managed to maintain its final tally of 44 divisions, while Congress had got 2 two seats.

Asaduddin Owaisi addressing the media late in the night said that, “In a democratic way, we will be contesting against the BJP. The people of Telangana will fight against the saffron party in the state. This is the BJP's temporary win in the GHMC polls. It is contrary to our desires.”

He further added that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will give the BJP a fitting and effective response in the coming days.
