Hot Topic: Kasani's Comments On Nara Lokesh

 - Sakshi Post

Kasani Gnaneswar, the Telangana TDP president, has tendered his resignation to the Telugu Desam Party. In his resignation letter, Gnaneswar made severe allegations against the top brass including Nara Lokesh, Nandamuri Balakrishna. Kasani alleged that Lokesh has ignored the Telangana TDP completely. He said he has made over 20 phone calls to Lokesh, but he did not respond at all. Kasani fumed at TDP and Lokesh for not contesting in Telangana. Kasani said Lokesh is difficult to understand. He doesn't know whether he is big or small. He asked, "What is the purpose of having Telangana TDP if the party won't contest election?"

Kasani said T-TDP had promised 50 percent seats to BCs. All the BCs are waiting for the tickets and suddenly the party announced that it won't contest which came as a huge shocker. Kasani said he doesn't know how to pacify the ticket aspirants who have been working for the party with high hopes. He expressed his disillusionment with the party's leadership for not supporting candidates who wanted to contest under the TDP banner, despite the party facing challenging times.

Kasani said Nandamuri Balakrishna had told earlier that he would standby the T-TDP. Kasani said now Balakrishna is seen no where. He felt betrayed by the lack of support and trust from the TDP, which led to his decision to resign.

Expressing his utter disappointment, Gnaneshwar questioned the rationale behind TDP's withdrawal from the elections when smaller emerging parties like BSP, Janasena, and others are actively contesting. He also pointed out the exodus of various leaders to different political factions, raising doubts about TDP's relevance in Telangana. He alleged that some leaders in T-TDP are vouching for the Congress. He expresssed shock that TDP and Janasena wants BJP in Andhra Pradesh, whereas some leaders of Telangana TDP want to support the Congress. Kasani said it is very shocking and ironic.

Furthermore, Gnaneshwar stated that his inability to procure the necessary 'B' forms for party leaders wanting to contest in the Telangana elections rendered him unsuitable to continue as the head of T-TDP. Kasani announced he will be meeting his supporters to discuss his future plans. Overall, Kasani's comments have become hot topic in Telangana. The moot question is whether Nara Lokesh and the TDP will respond or not.
