Xiaomi Patents New Foldable Phone With Stunning Camera Features
BEIJING: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has patented a latest foldable smartphone with amazing camera features. The phone is coming up with quad-camera system that rotates forward for selfies and back for regular photos.
According to GizmoChina reports, Xiaomi has filed the design patent for an inward bending phone in China and has also put 48 images to showcase the handset.
The patent images show a flexible screen and the phone folds inwards, protecting the display. Then rotating camera module is at the top, making the phone look like an upside-down Moto Razr.
Earlier, the company also patented a new a dual-display smartphone with quad-rear camera setup.
According to the patent, the primary display is like any other phone with ultra-slim bezels and earpiece up top.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi's brand Redmi is planning to launch its next smartphone Redmi 10X, the first device to be powered by new Dimensity 820 processor, in China on May 26. The smartphone is expected to feature four rear cameras with a 48MP main camera and will have 6.57-inch OLED display.
