Women's Asia Cup: In the Asia Cup, Indian women defeated Sri Lankan women by a score of 41 runs. It was an all-around effort from the Indian team to beat Sri Lanka and start the tournament on a winning note.

She scored the highest ever score in the Women's T20 Asia Cup. When she came to bat, India was 21/2 and then she scored a brilliant 76 runs from 53 balls, including 11 fours and 1 six against Sri Lanka. Harmanpreet Kaur has played second fiddle admirably, and the two have placed India solidly in control heading into the last four overs. However, Sri Lanka performed well to limit the damage, as India finished with a score of 150/6.
Chasing the target, Sri Lanka was all out for 109 in 18.2 overs. Dayalan Hemalatha (3/15), Pooja Vastrakar (2/12), Deepti Sharma (2/15), and Radha Yadav (1/15).
