T20 World Cup 2021: Netizens Reaction to MS Dhoni Mentoring Team

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced Team India's squad for the T20 World Cup 2021 on Wednesday. However, it was former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who got everyone's attention more than the players.

Dhoni will be the tournament's mentor, which surprised everyone in the cricket world. As captain, Dhoni won three major ICC trophies: the World T20, the Champions Trophy, and the World Cup. He also led the Super Kings to three IPL titles (CSK). His experience, combined with the team's performance, has fans excited and saying Men in Blue are champions.

Netizens flooded social media with memes to celebrate Dhoni's return. The T20 World Cup will be held in the UAE and Oman at four different locations: Muscat, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

The qualifying rounds of the tournament are set to begin on October 17. On October 24, India will begin their T20 World Cup campaign against Pakistan.
