Rape Threat to Vamika After Kohli Defends Shami, Inzamam Reacts!
After India's T20 World Cup loss to Pakistan on Sunday, October 24, Indian player Mohammed Shami was trolled and received abusive comments on social media.
In that match, Mohammed Shami gave 43 runs in 3.5 overs. He was the costliest bowler in that match. As soon as the match was completed, netizens took to Twitter and trolled Mohammed Shami due to his religion.
The Indian cricket fraternity supported Shami and the team. One of those players was skipper Virat Kohli, who supported Shami.
"To me, insulting someone because of their religion is the most pitiful thing a human being can do. Everyone has the right to express their thoughts and feelings regarding a given scenario. But, personally, I have never, ever considered discriminating against someone because of their religion. That is something incredibly personal and important to every human being, and it should be left alone. People vent their frustrations because they have no idea what we do as people or how much effort we put in on the field, "Kohli said.

As Virat Kohli stood up for Shami, few people could not digest and troll Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's daughter Vamika.
A rape threat issued by the now-deleted account @Criccrazyygirl to Vamika Kohli demanded the toddler's photo be exposed while giving a rape threat.
Following the horrific tweet, many people, including former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, began calling out the trolls for attacking Kohli's family and making silly and nasty comments about the 10-month-old daughter. Inzamam claimed he was deeply saddened to witness people threatening Kohli's daughter after India's loss against New Zealand.
Many took to Twitter in support of Virat Kohli. Here are the tweets.

I still believe India is a best team its just a matter of having good time or bad time but abusing player's and their family is such a shame don't forget end of the day it's just a game of cricket.
