Anushka Sharma, a Bollywood actress, has responded after her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, issued a statement stating that he has formally chosen to step down as India's T20 captain following the T20 World Cup in the UAE. Anushka Sharam took her official Instagram account and reshared his post, with a heart emoji.

 "After a lot of contemplation and discussion with Ravi Shastri and Rohit Sharma and would be stepping down after the World Cup was over in Dubai in the month of October. He also mentioned that he had spoken to BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and Secretary Jay Shah and would continue his services to the Indian Cricket team to the best of his ability, "said Kohli.

Anushka Sharma has been travelling with Virat Kohli. She is now in Dubai with him for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, which begins on Sunday.

Anushka has two films in the works for her professional career. She will appear in Navdeep Singh's "Kaneda" and a Jhulan Goswami biography. The actress was most recently seen in the 2018 film "Zero." Last year, she created the online series "Paatal Lok" and the film "Bulbbul" for OTT.
