IPL 2021 SRH Vs RR Highlights: Kane Williamson, Jason Roy's Fiftys Helps Beat RR

In the fight between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, SRH won the match by seven wickets.

Chasing a total of 165, SRH got off to a flying start, with openers Jason Roy and Wriddhiman Saha (18) launching a flurry of boundaries that put SRH beyond 50 in only 4.5 overs.  Roy reached fifty on his debut but was bowled out for 60 by Chetan Sakariya soon after.  Abhishek Sharma (21*) and Williamson (51*) put on a vital 48-run partnership to lead their club to a seven-wicket victory in only 18.3 overs.

Earlier in the day, Sanju Samson was the standout of the first innings, scoring 82 off 57 balls to help Rajasthan Royals reach 164/5 in 20 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal (36) was RR's second-highest run-scorer, and he had a 56-run partnership with the captain. Following his departure, Mahipal Lomror (29*) and his skipper put up a crucial 84-run stand to push the team past 150. With the bat, Liam Livingstone (4), Riyan Parag (0), and Evin Lewis (6) all failed.
