After Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bowler T Natarajan tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, fans felt that it might have an impact on the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Natarajan was in isolation, along with other close contacts, including Vijay Shankar. "T Natarajan of the Sunrisers Hyderabad tested positive for COVID-19 after a routine RT-PCR test. The player is in isolation and he is presently symptom-free "According to a news statement issued by IPL.
The match against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on Wednesday, however, has been cleared after the rest of the squad tested negative. Despite the game proceeding, Natarajan's positive test raised concerns about COVID-19 among cricket fans. Here are the fans reactions:
