IND vs ENG 2022: This Fast Bowler To Lead India Test Side
Indian regular captain Rohit Sharma has tested positive for Covid, and vice-captain KL Rahul has ruled out injury. The question of who will lead the crucial test match against England has become a hot topic on social media.
It is worth noting that India is 2-1 in the series and the final match is crucial for both the teams. Based on reports, Japsrit Bumrah is likely to lead the team for the fifth and final Test match against England at Edgbaston, starting on July 1. If this happens after 35 years, a fast bowler will lead the team. Kapil Dev was the fast bowler who led India in 1987.
Bumrah was named vice-captain of the Indian side for the three-match ODI series in South Africa earlier this year.
