ICC Sets Deadline For BCCI To Decide On T20 World Cup
The International Cricket Council has given the BCCI time till June 28 to decide whether the prestigious T20 World Cup will be held in India in the wake of the COVID-19 situation in the country.
On Tuesday, the ICC Board of Governors assembled virtually, with BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah representing India. T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place in October and November of this year.
The BCCI requested a month, which the ICC board unanimously agreed to grant for a thorough review of the country's health condition, which has been hit by a second wave of the virus which has spiraled out of control.

As per sources, the ICC board has agreed to the BCCI's request, and they will have till June 28 to decide whether or not India will host the T20 World Cup. They'll provide a clear proposal to the board next month.
