Hotstar viewership before the final over peaked at 7.2M, but during the last over it reached 8.3M which is the highest of IPL 2022 so far. Earlier, the CSK vs RCB match had a viewership of 8.2 million. In IPL history, the highest number of views was over 10 million last year during the MI vs CSK game.
