Asia Cup 2022: Virat Kohli Reminisces Best Moment With MS Dhoni
India will begin their Asia Cup journey with a match against arch-rivals Pakistan on August 28. The Indian players started their practise on Wednesday. Virat Kohli's practise videos have also gone viral on social media.
Ahead of the match, Virat Kohli shared a post on his social media handles, which created a buzz on the internet.
It is known that Kohli recently completed his 14 years of international career and shared a heart-whelming message for former India skipper MS Dhoni.
"Being this man's deputy was the most enjoyable and exciting period in my career." Our partnership would always be special to me forever. 7 + 18, " wrote Kohli.
Both Kohli and Dhoni have had many great moments in the dressing room, and the photo posted by the star Indian batter is from the 2016 World Cup, when Kohli hit 82 off 51 balls against Australia, leading India to a 6-wicket victory at Mohali.
Currently, the star hitter is fighting for runs, and his supporters have been waiting for his 71st century for more than three years.
However, the special statement creates doubts among the fans. A section of people questions whether Virat Kohli is missing support now. "I sense something else here. Maybe he is indicating about passing his prime and if he still underperforms, then we might see him hanging up his boots anytime soon," one user speculated.
