Dhruva Sarja's latest release Pogaru has drawn the flak of Karnataka Brahama Vedike. In a social media post on its official handle, the forum has condemned a particular scene in the movie dubbed controversial.

The post reads thus: 
"I watched Pogaru movie yesterday. In one of the scenes in the movie, there is a guy who put his shoes on a Brahmin performing Homam. And Dhruva Sarja is seen mouthing choicest of abuses in the movie. Let's strongly condemn this."

Pogaru stars Dhruva Sarja and Rashmika Mandanna, Kaigreene and Mayuri kyatari in key roles. The action thriller has been made on a budget of Rs 25 crores. Pogaru was released in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil and marks the comeback of Rashmika in Sandalwood. The actress, who's now the most sought after artist in Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood made her debut in the Kannada film Kirik Party opposite Rakshit Shetty.

Pogaru is directed by Nandakishore and the movie has taken the box office by storm with whopping collections. The movie is a feast to Dhruva Sarja fans who have been flocking theatres.
