Good News For Google Pay Users
Leading Digital Wallet Company Google Pay has announced an expansion of its card tokenization feature with more banks. After rolling out the tokenization with State Bank of India card, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Google Pay has now added Federal Bank, IndusInd Bank and HSBC Bank Debit cards.
Now, Google Pay customers can add their banks’ debit cards to the app through tokenization services. This allows the users to make payments over the phone with the help of Near-field communication (NFC) without using a debit card. After adding new banks, the user can now make contactless payments at over 2.5 million Visa merchant locations.
Google Pay has announced that it has been trying to bring other banks into the tokenization network as well. Credit cards from various banks can now easily be attached to the wallet and used to make payments online or offline.
