Cash-for-vote: Jogi Ramesh Dares Chandrababu to Speak Up For Former Aide Revanth Reddy

Chandrababu should speak on Cash-for-Vote scam and Revanth Reddy -YSRCP - Sakshi Post

AMARAVATI: YSRCP MLA Jogi Ramesh dared opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu to speak on the Enforcement Directorate ( ED) filing charge sheet on his close associate in Cash-for-Vote case in Mahanadu, rather than conspiring against the State government.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, the MLA said that Chandrababu Naidu, was caught red-handed in the scam while trying to buy votes in the 2015 Telangana Legislative Council elections, and there were evidences of his involvement in the form of audio and videotapes.

Although the forensic confirmed that it is Chandrababu’s voice in the audio clips, he was not even called for an enquiry. He was roaming free and challenged him to answer on ED filing charge sheet on Revanth Reddy, as he worked under Chandrababu’s direction.

Raising the reorganisation issues, he said that Hyderabad was given as a common capital till 2024, because of the previous government involving cheap politics of Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh people have lost its right. It is Naidu who feared getting arrested, has shifted the capital to Amaravati, which resulted in losing right over Hyderabad. After coming to Amaravati, all that Chandrababu Naidu had done was to show cinema sets and graphics to bluff people and soon after losing in 2019 elections he was back to Hyderabad, said the MLA adding that Naidu was politicising everything by managing the systems to destabilise the government.

Further, MLA Jogi Ramesh said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been working for the upliftment of weaker sections, providing transparent governance and proved his mettle in the last 23 months, where people blessed the government by giving a thumping victory in all local body elections and Tirupati by-poll. While the government is trying hard to control the pandemic situation, he stated that opposition TDP leaders are intentionally spreading rumours to panic people with their cheap politics by staying in a neighbouring state. He said that people wanted to see YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the Chief Minister for decades-long, shutting down the hopes of Chandrababu Naidu and other TDP leaders.
