Two Killed, 38 Injured As Bus Falls Into Gorge in J&K’s Udhampur
Jammu &Kashmir: Two persons were killed and 38 others were injured after a bus fell into a deep gorge in the Keya Morh area of Udhampur in the state of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The bus, was on its way from Ramnagar to village Chhitredi when the accident took place. Police and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operations. The injured, including 20 women and 18 children, and the deceased have been identified as Prem Nath and Shammi Kumar.
Udhampur Chief Medical Officer Dr Vijay Basnotra said that ten people who were injured were referred to a district hospital in Udhampur as per reports in the ANI.
