Reliance Jio Prepaid Recharge Plans Revised- Find the Details Here

Reliance Jio has introduced significant changes to two of its popular data add-on recharge plans, ₹69 and ₹139, by modifying their validity structure. Additionally, the company recently updated its ₹448 plan and reintroduced the ₹189 prepaid pack.

Changes in ₹69 and ₹139 Data Add-On Plans

Previously, the ₹69 and ₹139 data add-on packs did not have a separate validity period. Instead, their validity was tied to the user’s active base plan. For instance, if a user’s base recharge plan was valid for 30 days, the add-on would also remain active for the same duration.

However, as per the latest revisions, both these prepaid data add-on plans will now have a standalone validity of just 7 days. This means users will no longer be able to utilize the data benefits for an extended period as before. Instead, they must consume the allocated data within one week of activation.

Data Benefits of the Revised Plans

• The ₹69 add-on pack offers 6GB of high-speed data.
• The ₹139 add-on pack provides 12GB of high-speed data.
• Once the allotted data is exhausted, the internet speed will be reduced to 64Kbps.

It's important to note that these are data-only packs, meaning they do not include voice calling or SMS benefits. Furthermore, users must have an active base recharge plan for these add-ons to function.

Reliance Jio Reintroduces ₹189 Prepaid Plan

In addition to modifying the data add-ons, Jio has reintroduced its ₹189 prepaid plan, which was previously discontinued. It is now available under the "Affordable Packs" category.

This plan comes with a validity of 28 days and offers:

• 2GB of total data for the entire duration.
• Unlimited voice calls across all networks.
• 300 SMS throughout the validity period.

Users recharging with this plan will also gain access to Jio services, including JioTV, JioCinema (excluding premium content), and JioCloud storage.

Price Cut for ₹448 Plan

Jio has also revised the pricing of its ₹448 prepaid recharge plan, reducing its cost to ₹445. The plan continues to offer:

• 28 days validity
• 2GB of high-speed data per day
• Unlimited voice calls
• 100 SMS per day

Additionally, subscribers can access premium OTT platforms such as ZEE5, JioCinema Premium, SonyLIV, and Lionsgate Play as part of the plan’s bundled benefits.
