PM Modi Reviews Preparedness For Tauktae Cyclone
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to hold an important meeting on Saturday to review 'Tauktae' situation and preparations to be made to overcome the cyclone situation across the country.
Government sources said that top officers from across the departments, the National Disaster Management Authority, will attend the meeting.
On Friday, The India Meteorological Department said that depression in the Arabian Sea is likely to intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm on Saturday or Sunday and cross the coast at Gujarat a day later.
"Deep Depression over Lakshadweep area and adjoining southeast & east-central Arabian Sea about 55 km north-northwest of Amini Divi will intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during the next 12 hrs. It is expected to move north-northwestwards and reach Gujarat coast by 18th May morning," IMD tweeted.

53 teams have been allocated by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) to tackle the after-effects of 'Tauktae' Cyclone that is developing in the Arabian Sea.
