No Public Holidays in November 2025; here's why!

 - Sakshi Post

The Tamil Nadu government has released its 2025 public holiday calendar, in which excitement fills the air among students, teachers, government employees, and bank officials. The list promises plenty of long weekends and breaks throughout the year as most holidays will fall on weekdays, but the difference one month is going to show is November 2025.

Very rarely, November 2025 doesn't contain any public holidays. Much of the rest of the year is filled with significant holidays, but November is usually a quiet month. Usually every year November used to have holidays but this year the month is dry.

The rest of the year is pretty drenched with holidays: Independence Day on August 15, Diwali on October 20, and Christmas on December 25. These strategically placed holidays hold the promise of long breaks and long weekends. However, November happens to be a rare phenomenon absence of a holiday during this month.

While no holidays exist in November, the Government of Tamil Nadu has designed the holidays throughout the year to remain in balance. This would mean that November would be a time when everyone can work and participate in daily routine without any sort of disturbance.

The only month without a public holiday in Tamil Nadu's 2025 public holiday list is November. All other months of the year have wonderful holidays, while November perhaps is one of the few quiet months of the year.
