Its boxy design includes large window panels, a kink near the C-pillar, squared-off wheel arches, and a flat tailgate. At the rear, the SUV comes equipped with sleek L-shaped LED lights, a chunky bumper, and a silver-finished skid plate.

Interior Features: Premium Comfort and Technology

Inside, the Kia Syros offers a dual-tone cabin with leatherette upholstery, depending on the selected variant. It features dual 12.3-inch displays—one for infotainment and the other for the instrument cluster. The cabin also includes a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, a 5-inch screen for climate controls, a wireless phone charger, and 64-color ambient lighting. For safety, the Syros comes with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Powertrain Options: Turbo-Petrol and Diesel Engines

The Kia Syros comes with two engine options carried over from the Sonet:

1.0-litre Turbo-Petrol Engine

  • Power: 120 PS
  • Torque: 172 Nm
  • Transmission Options: 6-speed Manual (MT) / 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT)

1.5-litre Diesel Engine

The Kia Syros is expected to be priced from Rs 9.7 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with other popular sub-4m SUVs in India, such as the Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and Tata Nexon.

With its bold design, high-tech features, and competitive pricing, the Kia Syros is poised to make a significant impact in the growing sub-4m SUV segment in India.
