Interim Budget 2024: Key Highlights

The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget in the Lok Sabha. The Finance Minister introduced the budget in digital form. The Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the interim budget on Thursday.

Before this, the Finance Minister convened with her ministry team for a photo session to mark the budget preparation. Accompanied by Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, Minister of State for Finance Bhagwat Karad, and senior ministry officials, she proceeded to Rashtrapati Bhavan to seek President Draupadi Murmu's approval on the interim budget.
