Indians Want To Boycott Cadbury After Seeing Shahrukh Khan In Diwali Ad
Just a few days left for Diwali and it's time for the brands to promote their special products. During festive seasons, brands would come up with new advertisements. Cadbury is one of the brands that often comes up with creative commercials. Recently, Cadbury unveiled its new commercial featuring Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador of small, local businesses that suffered due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The commercial, titled 'Not just a Cadbury Ad', began with a voice-over and bytes of local businessmen sharing their experiences during the coronavirus pandemic and explained how badly they were affected due to the coronavirus pandemic. "This Diwali, we helped hundreds of small businesses by making India’s biggest brand ambassador, their brand ambassador," the video continued. At the end of the video, he said, "Humare aas paas ki jo dukaane hai, unki bhi to Diwali meethi honi chahiye na." Here is the advertisement.
The commercial went viral in no time and some sections of netizens are using the hashtag #BoycottCadbury because Cadbury has roped in Shah Rukh Khan for the advertisement amid his son Aryan Khan's drugs case. The hashtag #BoycottCadbury is trending on Twitter. Here are the tweets.

Please note, if any of our Australian products contain gelatine in the ingredients, the gelatine we use is halal certified and derived from beef.
If they are mixing beef in Cadbury in Australia to make it Halal then how not in India?
