Now the citizens will be able to book the slot by sending a message to the government-owned phone number. This number is called the MyGov Corona Helpdesk. All you need to do is save the phone number as “MyGov Corona Helpdesk” and send the message on WhatsApp.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently took to Twitter to announce the availability of this method of booking the slots. “Paving a new era of citizen convenience. Now, book #COVID19 vaccine slots easily on your phone within minutes,” he posted on Twitter. You will have to send a message, “Book a slot” to the WhatsApp number.

Here are the Steps To Book a slot on WhatsApp

STEP 1: Add +91 9013151515 number “MyGov Corona Helpdesk” to your phone's contacts.

STEP 2: Send message ‘Book Slot’ to this number on WhatsApp.

STEP 3: You will then receive an OTP on your number. Enter the OTP and share it.

STEP 4: Choose your preferred Date and Location.

STEP 5: You will get a vaccine centre depending on availability and Pin Code.

STEP 6: Final Confirmation.
