Director Shankar's Daughter Aishwarya Marries in Star-Studded Wedding, See Pics

In a grand ceremony, director Shankar's elder daughter Aishwarya Shankar has tied the knot with Tarun Karthikeyan. The wedding, held in Chennai, was attended by several renowned South Indian celebrities.

Aishwarya exchanged vows with Tarun, who is said to be an assistant director to her father Shankar. The event was graced by the presence of legendary actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, as well as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Other notable attendees included actors Chiyaan Vikram, Suriya, and Karthi. Director Mani Ratnam and his wife Suhasini also attended the wedding celebrations. Actress Nayanthara and her director husband Vignesh Shivan were also present at the event.

Shankar, known for his commercially successful films, was accompanied by his wife Eswari and their two other children - actress Aditi Shankar and son Arijit. 

This is Aishwarya's second marriage, as she was previously married to cricketer Damodaran Rohit in 2021. However, the couple had gotten divorced shortly after.

The grand wedding ceremony was a joyous occasion for the Shankar family, as they celebrated the union of their elder daughter with their close friends and colleagues from the film industry.
