Actor and DMDK Founder Vijayakanth Placed On Artificial Respiration

Well-known Tamil actor and founder of DMDK political party (Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam) Vijayakanth's health condition remains critical. Unwell Vijayakanth was hospitalised on Saturday. He is being treated at a private hospital in Chennai. A team of medical experts are observing his health condition. Vijayakanth has been placed on artificial respiration. Knowing his condition, several fans and party workers are worried. They are praying for his speedy recovery. DMDK party maintains that Vijayakanth will soon be discharged.

It can be noted that Vijayakanth made his last public appearance to the cadre during his birthday celebration (August 25) at the party office. However, seeing his health condition, the cadre was in tears. Since then, Vijayakanth has been confined to his home. On Saturday, he was rushed to the hospital.
