The Upcoming Netflix Series ‘D.P. 2’ Releases Its Official Teaser
The upcoming South Korean drama D.P. 2 is adapted from a webtoon of the same name which narrates about a special military team who tracks down the deserters. The second season of the drama embarks its journey with Jung Hae In, Kim Sung Kyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, and Son Seok Koo as the returning cast. Ji Jin Hee, Kim Ji Hyun, and Choi Hyun Wook will be joining them for this season.
D.P. 2’s main focus is on the Military Police Investigation Division and the situation they have to deal with. It highlights the incident which includes Private Cho Seok Bong. The involvement of the Republic of Korea Army Headquarters raises the viewers expectations regarding the changes or development made in the series.
With Ho Yeol being hospitalised, Sergeant Beom Gu handling discipline and Lieutenant Ji Seop relocated, An Jun Ho has to face the situation alone and he meets a new person who is wearing Ho Yeol’s windbreaker.
Jung Hae In introduces the new characters in the series and fans are hoping that the drama will now open up to new facets. The official teaser also gives us a glimpse on how the situation which was once calm turns into a mayhem with the deserters’ life at risk. It also takes us to the main plot which Jung Hae In states in the teaser “To bring them back, safe and sound.”
With the introduction of new characters and the bond between them, viewers will also be able to have a chance of viewing the start of new comradeship and notice the change in the bond between Park Beom Gu and Lim Ji Seop, who start cooperating with each other for the betterment of the situation prevailing there.
Lastly, Son Seok Koo hints about how the opposing sides have changed into a sort of friendship when they come across similar ideas that they need to carry to help the deserters.
The drama is said to be having parts or seasons. The first season of D.P. 2 will be released on July 28.
