Will Telangana Govt Extend Morning Relaxation Hours?
It is known that the Telangana government has imposed a lockdown in the state from Wednesday, May 10 to May 22 with a relaxation period from 6 am to 10 am. Earlier, the government had announced that an e-pass is a must for those who are travelling to TS during the lockdown. It is known that the public is not following any guidelines of lockdown and moving around in vehicles even after relaxation period. The police has stated that they will seize vehicles of persons roaming around without valid reason or those violating the guidelines and book cases under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and other provisions.
As per sources sources, the morning relaxation period that is from 6 am to 10 am might be extended for an hour or two as the relaxation period seems to be inadequate or the general public, and normal traffic on the roads is being witnessed even after the curfew comes into effect. Some of the traffic cops say that they are giving 15- 20 minutes of grace time to the public, but it is extends way beyond and it is taking a lot of time to clear the traffic. Taking this into consideration, it is being said that the Telangana government may extend the relaxation period with new guidelines.
