Telangana Govt Gets Over Rs 1K Crore Revenue From Dharani Portal
The Telangana government officials, on Wednesday, said that the Dharani Portal generated a revenue of over Rs 1,086 Crore to the State exchequer in 10 months. To the unversed, Dharani portal is the one-stop destiny for the registration of agriculture lands.
As of now, 10,18,513 payments were made through the portal which received 4.65 crore hits in just 10 months. The officials said that the Pattadar Passbooks(PPBs) were attached with the Aadhaar and biometric authentication of the Passbook owners after making proper corrections to the agricultural land records.
The portal has 10 information and 28 transactions modules which guide the users to book a slot on the portal without any problems. Besides this, reports claim that the portal is able to resolve most of the obstacles faced by farmers in terms of agricultural lands.
After taking the suggestions from the farmers and common people, we have also planned to add some more features to the Dharani portal to make it more user-friendly, an official said.
The people who are using the portal says that one of the major advantages is the e-Passbook is delivered to the buyer instantly after completing the transaction at the concerned MRO’s office. However, a green passbook will be sent to the buyer’s address later.
