Who is Directing Vijay Thalapathy's Last Film?
Thalapathy Vijay is likely to team up with director H Vinoth for his 69th film before venturing into politics full-time, according to reports. This film will be Vijay's last before he enters politics in 2026.
Reports suggest H Vinoth narrated a story to Vijay, which impressed the actor. DVV Entertainment, the producers of 'RRR', may bankroll Vijay's final film. Vijay's last film could be a political thriller, setting the stage for his political entry.
Vijay launched his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), earlier this year. He announced pursuing politics full-time.
"In my opinion, politics isn't just any regular job. It's a special responsibility. I've realized it's not just about gaining power, but also about learning from those who came before me. Mentally, I'm getting ready for it. So, politics isn't just something I do for fun. It's my biggest dream. I want to dedicate myself entirely. That's why I'll finish one more movie I promised and then become a politician full-time. This is my way of repaying the people of Tamil Nadu," he wrote in a statement.
Before his political plunge, Vijay will be seen next in director Venkat Prabhu's 'GOAT', likely releasing later this year or early next year. While an official announcement is awaited, reports suggest H Vinoth emerged as the frontrunner to direct Vijay's 69th and final film before politics.
