Vijay Deverakonda Changes Format To Score A Hit?

Vijay Deverakonda's recent movie Family Star failed to create magic at the box office. It was a flop like Kushi, Liger and a few other movies. 

Currently, he is working with director Gowtham Tinnanuri for an action drama. The actor will be essaying a cop's role in the movie. Looks like Vijay is trying to change the working format for the movie. 

He is doing an experiment. Vijay Deverakonda and Gowtham have decided to complete the movie without any songs. If it happens, it will be a first in VD's career. 

Anirudh will be composing the music. While his background music is going to be one of the highlights of the film, there won't be songs. Vijay seems to be following Karthi, as the latter did with his movie Khaidi. VD's movie is produced by Sithara Entertainments.
