Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, daughter of actor Sarathkumar has recently made headlines for her engagement to Mumbai based businessman and art gallery manager Nikolai Sachdev. Known for her roles as a lady villain in Tollywood films, she is busy preparing for marriage with her fiance.

However, amidst the joy of her upcoming wedding, Varalaxmi's name was linked to a drug case from last year. Adilingam, a freelance manager who had worked with her was arrested in connection with the case. This led to suspicions about Varalaxmi's involvement. Several reports emerged suggesting that she had been summoned to appear in the court regarding the drug case. Rumour mills were also busy churning stories that Varalaxmi had been arrested and taken into custody.

In response to these allegations, Varalaxmi took to Twitter to deny these allegations and expressed frustration at the spread of false information. She blamed the media for spreading baseless claims and reiterated her stance against such misleading reporting.
