Samantha Lauds Kurnool Girl Who Escaped Child Marriage and Topped Inter Exams

Tollywood actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently took to Instagram to shower praise on an inspiring Intermediate student from Andhra Pradesh. The student, S. Nirmala from Aluru KGBV in Kurnool district, secured an impressive 421 out of 440 marks in the recently released Andhra Pradesh Inter results, emerging as the topper.

Nirmala's achievement is even more remarkable because she managed to avoid child marriage and overcome significant financial challenges to pursue her education. Despite facing pressure to get married at a young age, with three of her four sisters already married, Nirmala refused to give in and fought hard to continue her studies.

Samantha, who is currently preparing for the Indian adaptation of the web series Citadel, where she will co-star with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, referred to Nirmala as her "role model" in her Instagram stories. Known for her roles in films like "Shakunthalam" and "Khushi," Samantha has recently recovered from myositis and is enjoying her re-entry into the industry.

Nirmala's determination and resilience have not only secured her the top spot in the Inter exams but also won her the admiration of a popular actress. Hailing from a poor family, Nirmala's achievement is even more inspiring. She not only scored an impressive 537 marks in her 10th class but also managed to secure the top spot in the Inter exams, despite facing immense financial constraints and societal pressure.
