Watch Video: Rajamouli’s Standing Ovation to Japan’s Takarazuka for RRR Musical
Tollywood director SS Rajamouli is currently immersed in his work in Japan where his latest movie RRR has been recently released. The last year's Oscar-winning movie has been showcased in a 100-year-old musical theater in Japan. Rajamouli took to Twitter to express his gratitude and joy at the warm reception the movie received.
"Its an honour that our RRR has been adapted as a musical by the 110 year old Takarazuka company. Thank you Japanese audience for embracing the Broadway play of RRR just like the film itself. Overwhelmed by your response... Can't appreciate all the girls enough for your energy, talent, and meticulousness in the show. ARIGATO GOZAIMASU," Rajamouli wrote on 'X'.

Amidst current engagements, the renowned director is also working on an action-adventure project alongside Mahesh Babu. The film's scriptwriter Vijayendra Prasad, SS Rajamouli's father recently shared that he has almost completed the script for SSMB 29. Speculations within the industry suggest that the movie may be titled "Maharaj" and there are talks of Indonesian actress Chelsea Elizabeth potentially taking the role of the heroine. Additionally, there are exciting rumours that Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth will be joining the cast.
