The coronavirus crisis has brought the entire world to a standstill. The lockdown imposed across India to curb the spread of virus has hampered all services across the nation including the film industry.
The film industry was also hit severely as several workers and sections of people are associated with it.
Film shoots have been stalled for over two months now since the lockdown was announced in the last week of March. Release schedules of many big films were also postponed and pushed forward. Till a while ago, nobody was sure when film shoots would be resumed. But as per reports, the government of two Telugu states have in principle agreed to allow the shootings to resume even though the date for it is yet to be fixed.
The filmmakers are planning to resume their shoots from the first week of June. There is speculation that SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture ‘RRR’ will be the first film to hit the floors during this period.
It is being heard that SS Rajamouli has already called the team members and informed them to get ready for the shoot. The government has ordered to follow health guidelines and precautions to ward off coronavirus on the sets during the shoot.
According to latest reports, Rajamouli has already started the preparations for it.
RRR is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya and features Young Tiger Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in prominent roles.
