Arun, also known as the "Prince of Charminar," made a splendid mark on the Bigg Boss house, and represented Hyderabad with pride and charisma.

Arun Mashetty, a renowned YouTuber from Hyderabad, entered the Bigg Boss 17 house on October 15, 2023. It was a historic moment for all Hyderabadi as he represented the vibrant city on the reality show, and brought a special local flavour to the show.

Arun's journey through Bigg Boss 17 has been full of ups and downs. His YouTube fame from ‘Achanak Bayanak Gaming’ was set as a launchpad, capturing the hearts of both Bigg Boss audience and gaming enthusiasts alike.

Friendships and bondings

Arun chose the room alongside his YouTuber friends UK 07 Rider, Tehelka Bhai, and others. Initially, the group remained intact, and the audience enjoyed their relationship. Arun was  seen connecting with Tehelka Bhai, alias Sunny Arya. One of the most memorable aspects of Arun Mashetty's trip has been his friendship with Tehelka Bhai. The two had a strong bonding and were frequently spotted entertaining fans together. Netizens cherished their bond with one another. The host, Salman Khan, also acknowledged their camaraderie.

The eviction of Tehelka Bhai had the most devastating effect on Arun. He was spotted crying uncontrollably following his departure. The YouTuber also apologised to Bigg Boss with folded palms and asked him to give Tehelka another chance. His eviction drew strong emotions from other contestants too.

Family episode revelations

Arun shared the charming tale of his union with Malak, his beloved wife. He revealed that Malak works as a lawyer and she's from France. Arun said that when his father was alive, he chose Malak for him. The pair was married on March 15, 2021, and they had a stunning daughter named Jury. 

While imprisoned in the Bigg Boss house, Arun wrote his wife Malak a beautiful birthday card and promised celebrations when he got back. 

Unfortunate news (miscarriage)

Arun had an emotional meltdown after his wife Malak made an appearance on the show during Family Week. She made a startling disclosure about her pregnancy which astonished everyone including Arun. Few people knew that Malak was pregnant when Arun appeared on the show. She had a miscarriage and discussed it with her husband Arun on the show. He cried inconsolably after that. Later, Malak explained and consoled him.

Emotional conversations

Arun opened up with Neil Bhatt in an episode. He told how all of his wishes perished when his father died, His hopes and dreams were dashed, And he had lost interest in experiencing life to its fullest. He also shared that he stopped wearing gold, dressing up, and going to the gym, all of the characteristics of a young boy had disappeared. He shared how he's a happy person now and said, "Teen time ka khana mil gaya, ghar wale khush toh main khush” showing his family side.

Fights and foes

Soon after Tehelka’s eviction, Arun got involved in several major fights with fellow contender Anurag aka UK 07 Rider. Some of their conflicts bordered on physical violence. During multiple disputes, Anurag was overheard making comments about Arun's wife, which escalated tensions between them. 

Arun began bonding with Vicky after being sent to the 'Dimag Ka Makaan.' However, their friendship experienced many ups and downs. While they sometimes stood up for each other, they were also seen fighting in the house. 

In one of the episodes, Arun and Isha had an argument, which prompted Abhishek to intervene and defend Isha. This infuriated Arun, and the two got into a huge brawl. 

Home and future plans

Arun's descriptions of his lavish Hyderabad penthouse, complete with multiple floors and terraces, offered viewers a glimpse into his off-screen life. Plans for dedicating a floor to his gaming station demonstrated his dedication to both his craft and his home.

As the Bigg Boss 17 grand finale is happening today, the anticipation for Arun Mashetty's fate has reached its peak. Hyderabad locals and Bigg Boss fans nationwide are eager to see and pray for the success of their Prince of Charminar. They want him to emerge victorious and bring home the coveted trophy.

Throughout the journey, Bigg Boss scolded Arun for not participating in the events and spending all of his time sleeping. However, Arun remained resilient toward the game and continued to do so. Housemates even labelled him 'undeserving' and accused him of constantly sleeping' in the house.

Arun's journey from being labelled as an 'undeserving' contestant to reaching the Top six, has been extremely inspirational. Arun Srikanth Mashetty's journey in Bigg Boss 17 has not only entertained millions but has also represented the vibrant spirit of Hyderabad.
