Prabhas & Prashanth Neel To Start Salaar 2 Shooting!

After a successful run at the box office, the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster hit 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire' is steadily moving forward. The filming of 'Salaar 2' is set to begin in April 2024, according to an announcement by Bobby Simha, who played the character of Bhaarava in the first film.

Known for his meticulous approach to filmmaking, director Prashanth Neel has already made progress on 'Salaar 2'. As earlier reported, Neel has wrapped up filming for 40% of the sequel.

'Salaar 1: Ceasefire' has been a major success, earning positive reviews and a strong fan following. The film has a star-studded cast led by Prabhas, who portrayed his muscular and chaotic character perfectly. Alongside Prabhas, the film also features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Hassan, who delivered standout performances. The success of 'Salaar 1: Ceasefire' has laid a solid foundation for the eagerly awaited sequel among audiences worldwide. Currently, the movie is streaming on multiple OTT platforms with a good number on its charts.

The plot of 'Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam' is set to continue the storyline of 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire', which introduced two childhood friends who grow up to become bitter enemies. The sequel is speculated to have several leads with Raja Mannar played by Jagapathi Babu, also having a full-length role in the film.

'Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam' is expected to delve deeper into the political landscape of Khansaar where Deva/Salaar (Prabhas) and Vardha Raja (Prithviraj Sukumaran) find themselves turned into bloodthirsty rivals seeking revenge. The film promises to deliver an enthralling episode of drama, politics, and action similar to its first part and would likely be released in 2025.
