Jr NTR Returns to Hyderabad from Quake-hit Japan
Hyderabad: Actor Jr NTR has returned from the quake-hit Japan on Tuesday. The Tollywood actor had visited the East Asian country along with the family to ring in the new year.
Taking to X, Jr NTR said he was shocked by the ‘earthquake’ that hit the country. He was also ‘grateful for the resilience of the people’ during the time of natural disaster.
Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected.

At least 48 people were dead as the country recorded a series of 155 powerful earthquakes on the first day of the leap year 2024. A massive earthquake of magnitude 7.6 struck near the Noto peninsula in Ishikawa prefecture on Monday. The major quake triggered the country's first major tsunami warning since the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami which had left thousands dead.
