J Hope First BTS Member to Perform Solo After Separation

South Korean Agency HYBE has clarified that BTS is not disbanding or going on a hiatus.  And that the boys like to concentrate on their solo performances, to know their strength and direction in music. 
RM, Suga, V, Jungkook, J-Hope and Jimin have already started working on their solo projects, while Jin said he will decide either to get into acting or singing. 

The agency clarified that BTS is not going their separate ways. Instead, the Bangtan Boys will be focusing on their individual work. “BTS is not taking a hiatus. Members will be focusing more on solo projects at this time,” the statement said, as reported by Associated Press.

“BTS will start a new chapter that combines team and individual activities. It will be a time for each member to grow through various activities, and BTS will become a long-running team in the future. We expect that it will become a source of nourishment for us. For this, we will actively support at the label level,” the agency’s statement to Newsen read.

Soon after the statement from the agency, there was news coming out saying that J-Hope will be the first member to start his solo performances. He is all set to perform in the Lollapalooza music show as a solo performer.
