Hwasa Signs An Exclusive Contract With P NATION During PSY’s Concert

Hwasa surprisingly showed up for PSY's "SUMMER SWAG 2023" concert on June 30 in Seoul.

"I run a small agency called P NATION," PSY told the crowd at one point throughout the performance. "We need to sign an important contract, according to the company." He then playfully requested the audience for their "understanding," stating that he needed to pause the event to sign this important contract as a table was abruptly brought out onto the stage.

The contract in question belonged to Hwasa, who had just recently begun negotiations to join P NATION after parting ways with her longtime agency RBW. The crowd erupted in cheers as the singer made a grand entrance to the opening of her hit song "Maria," signing her exclusive contract on the spot.

Hwasa hugged PSY and posed for a photo after signing her new contract with P NATION before starting her performance of "Maria."

Afterwards, she introduced herself as “Hwasa, who just joined P NATION a few minutes ago.” She went on to add, “I really just signed a contract with the agency a few minutes ago. It wasn’t a performance; I actually signed a real contract. After discussing [the specifics] of the contract for a while, we worked everything out today.”
