Guntur Kaaram Rakes In Profits For Majority: Naga Vamsi Credits Mahesh, Trivikram For Huge Success

Guntur Kaaram, the family entertainer directed by Trivikram and starring Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles, has taken off to a fantastic start at the box office. Audiences are thoroughly enjoying the film's mix of mother-son sentiment, humour, music, and action segments, aver makers. As the film crosses the Rs 212 crore mark worldwide, producer S Naga Vamsi, representing Haarika and Hassine Creations, expressed his happiness.

The film has successfully completed its first week and continues to perform well at the box office, reaching a break-even stage in most areas. While there was initial anxiety, the support from family audiences and regular moviegoers, who have embraced the mother-son sentiment, has significantly contributed to our revenue.

"We initially had concerns about the film's projection, and in hindsight, perhaps the 1 am show could have been avoided. However, despite time constraints, there was no compromise on quality. The content has truly resonated with viewers, overcoming negative campaigns and putting up a commendable show," said producer Naga Vamsi.

"Mahesh Babu has been optimistic about the film from the beginning, urging us not to worry, and his judgment has paid off. His trust instilled confidence, and his presence has won over both masses and family crowds. We are extremely pleased with the collections, and Trivikram (garu) will be sharing his insights in an upcoming interview," he added.

"A campaign identified by Book My Show involved a few bots rating the film without watching it. We anticipate a response soon. In retrospect, we should have promoted it as a family-oriented mother-son drama; some people may have perceived it as a mass film. We are planning to host a success meet shortly. Reviews have not altered the film's prospects, and the reported collections are genuine," shared Vamsi.

"Unlike Athadu and Khaleja, which were genre-based films, Guntur Kaaram is a commercial film released for the festival season, ensuring profits for most parties involved. It is unfair to label it as a 'one-man' show. While Mahesh Babu delivered a fabulous performance, Trivikram deserves credit for extracting his potential to the fullest," Vamsi concluded.
