Filmfare Awards 2024 Announced: Sam Bahadur Wins 3 Awards

Filmfare Awards 2024: The initial set of victors for the 69th iteration of the Filmfare Awards has been unveiled, with the film "Sam Bahadur" directed by Vicky Kaushal and Meghna Gulzar taking the lead by securing three awards in different categories. Hosted by actors Aparshakti Khurana and Karishma Tanna, the awards ceremony unfolded in the state of Gujarat.

"Sam Bahadur" asserted its dominance in the technical categories, claiming triumph in three significant areas—Best Sound Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Production Design. Another notable mention goes to "Animal," a film by Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which left its mark by receiving two awards.

Ganesh Acharya received the Best Choreography Award for his outstanding work on the song 'What Jhumka' from the film "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani," featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Directed and produced by Karan Johar, the film garnered well-deserved acclaim.

Furthermore, Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster, "Jawan," was honoured with awards for Best VFX and Best Action at the 69th Filmfare Awards. The curtain-raiser event took place at the Mahatma Gandhi Exhibition and Convention Centre in Gandhinagar, setting the stage for the main event of the 69th Filmfare Awards 2024, scheduled for Sunday.
