CEO Of Lee Seung Gi’s Former Label Is Under Investigation For Drug Offence

Kwon Jin Young, the controversial previous CEO of the label for Lee Seung Gi, is being investigated for drug offences.

Southern Gyeonggi Police officials had requested that Kwon Jin Young be officially charged for getting sleeping pills through three agency employees, including one executive.

According to the officials, Kwon Jin Young had instructed an employee at HOOK Entertainment to tell doctors they were suffering from insomnia when they weren't, in order to get 14 dosages of sleeping pills. Additionally, it is said that the CEO illegally took sleeping pills from another employee who had previously been prescribed the medication.

During the CEO's dispute with Lee Seung Gi in December of last year, Kwon Jin Young's alleged misdeeds were first brought to light. HOOK Entertainment strongly denied the report at the time and threatened legal action.

HOOK Entertainment states, "CEO Kwon Jin Young has never bought sleeping pills illegally from a third party. We'll file a lawsuit in response to the defamatory report."
