Case Against Hero Venkatesh, Rana and family members over property dispute

The Nampally court has directed the police to register a case against actors Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati in connection with a property dispute. Going into details, the property in Film Nagar belonging to the Daggubati family is in dispute with the tenants who leased it and established a restaurant Deccan Kitchen.

As it was demolished illegally, victim Nanda Kumar moved the court. The Nampally criminal court on Monday heard the petition. It gave the green signal to the police to register the case against Daggubati Suresh, Daggubati Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati and Abhiram Daggubati.

The petitioner Nanda Kumar has stated in his complaint that the Daggubati family demolished the Deccan kitchen in defiance of the court orders. It was alleged in the complaint that the building worth crores of rupees was destroyed and the furniture was stolen.

In the matter of the lease, he claimed that despite court orders, the demolition was done illegally. He said that 60 private bouncers were hired to vandalize the hotel. Due to this, he claimed he incurred a loss of Rs. 20 crores. 

He appealed to the court to take strict legal action against those responsible. In this order, the Nampally court has issued orders to register cases under IPC 448, 452,380, 506,120b against Venkatesh and other family members.
