Buzz:Nagarjuna and Rajinikanth to Share Screen for 'Hukum'

 - Sakshi Post

Veteran actor Nagarjuna has reportedly agreed to play a key role alongside superstar Rajinikanth in the upcoming Tamil film 'Hukum'. This news comes after Nagarjuna recently signed on to share the screen with Dhanush in the movie 'Kubera'.

Sources from Chennai claim that while Nagarjuna has given his initial nod, other details are still being discussed. 'Hukum' is an action film directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj, who is known for assembling star casts from various languages, much like his previous film 'Jailer'.

According to insiders, Lokesh believes in bringing together actors from diverse backgrounds to give his action adventures a pan-Indian appeal. This time, he is keen to rope in Nagarjuna who has been selective about taking on special roles lately.

The seasoned actor has previously impressed audiences with his performances in multi-starrer films without compromising his own stardom. A prime example is the heartwarming 'Oopiri', where he shared the screen with Tamil actor Karthi.

Sources close to Nagarjuna suggest that he holds Rajinikanth in high regard and is looking forward to the opportunity to work with the superstar. The actor is known for his willingness to take on multi-hero projects that do not dent his popularity and charisma. Fresh off the success of 'Naa Saami Ranga', Nagarjuna is currently weighing his options for his next big Telugu movie. If all goes well, 'Hukum' could be added to his upcoming slate of projects.
