BTS’ Suga talks about wanting to Disappear from Spotlight

 - Sakshi Post

In an open conversation with Korean actress Lee Na-young, BTS's Suga discussed times when he wished to shut out the world and avoid the spotlight.

The 22nd of May saw the release of a video titled "[Shu-Chi-Ta] EP.11 SUGA with Lee Na-young" on BTS's official YouTube channel, "BANGTANTV."

Suga hosts a talk show called "Shu-Chi-Ta," which is short for "Drinking Time with Suga," where he has open discussions with guests from different fields of life while enjoying drinks and music. The show's eleventh and first female guest, Lee Na-young, joined Suga for a quick talk.

Suga was asked if there was ever a time when he longed to vanish during the conversation on Lee Na-young's new project, "Park Ha-kyung's Travelogue," which was the subject of the discussion. He admitted, "I guess I was afraid of getting too much love and attention as a child. I did, in fact, occasionally run away. Simply turned off my phone and went underground. On the next day, I was so terrified that I picked up the phone, called back right away, and apologised.

Suga said, "Even then, there were lots of circumstances that felt overpowering. BTS made their debut at that time with not much attention. I frequently felt afraid as we began receiving prizes that exceeded our expectations. And I cried. I was in my early to mid-twenties. The overwhelming love and attention occasionally felt heavy. But I've never strayed from a schedule.

Actor Won Bin and Lee Na-young have been blissfully married since 2015; they have a son together. Lee Na-young last made an appearance in the Wave original drama "Park Ha-kyung's Travelogue," which debuted on 24. In contrast, Won Bin has been on hiatus for 13 years since his appearance in the film "The Man From Nowhere" in 2010.
