BTS’ Solo Track ‘Take Two’ Takes the No. 1 Position On Billboard’s Global 200
Billboard's Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, which rate songs based on streaming and sales activity gathered from over 200 territories across the world, both officially declared on June 20 that BTS's new digital single "Take Two" has debuted at No. 1 on both of those charts.
With this accomplishment, BTS has made history in the Global 200 by being the first artist to have a new song debut at No. 1 every year since Billboard first introduced the chart in 2020.
Additionally, BTS is the only artist to have topped the Global Excl. U.S. chart each and every year.
BTS has also increased their own record for having the most songs that reach No. 1 on the Global 200. "Take Two" is their seventh top track, following "Dynamite," "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)," "Life Goes On," "Butter," "Permission to Dance," and "My Universe."
BTS is also the first artist to top the Global Excl. U.S. chart with seven different songs, having done so with the same seven songs that topped the Global 200 chart.
