BTS’ Jungkook Wins 2 SEC Awards, Named The International Male Artist Of The Year
Jeon Jungkook, the golden maknae of BTS, has once more made his imprint on the world of music. At the 2023 SEC Awards, the band's youngest member won in two prestigious categories.
Jungkook received the awards of International Male Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year from the SEC Awards, an award show in Brazil that recognises and honours musicians and filmmakers. Jungkook's collaboration with Charlie Puth on the captivating song "Left and Right" brought him to this great victory.
In the battle for the International Male Artist of the Year, Lil Nas X, Post Malone, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Harry Styles, Rema, and Steve Lacy were strong opponents for Jungkook. However, he was successful thanks to his extraordinary talent and wide global popularity.
Additionally, the song by Jungkook and Charlie Puth won the International Song of the Year award, beating out strong competition from SZA, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Rena with Selena Gomez, Sam Smith with Kim Petras, Blackpink, Ariana Grande with The Weeknd, and Karol G with Shakira.
