BTS' Jungkook Talks about Military Enlistment
The huge BTS fan base in South Korea is anxiously awaiting news regarding the band members' military enlistment. J-Hope enlisted in the military in April, while the band's oldest member, Jin, started training last year. Now, Jungkook broke his silence over his military enlistment and shared his plans prior to starting his training.
This year, BTS will mark the tenth anniversary of its debut. The boy band's seven members—RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, V, J-Hope, and Suga—made their public debut in 2013.
The Euphoria singer said, "Our Hope hyung recently had a ceremony for completing training. In our group chat, Hope Hyung posted a selfie, and his eyes changed to a very manly one. Then, speaking of his own enlistment, he added, "Ah, I must go (to the military), too. I'll go and come back coolly."
Before going to the training centre, J-Hope had his hair buzz cut, and Jungkook shared his intention to do the same. He added, "I'll gradually shorten my hair rather than cutting it all off at once. I'll keep cutting my hair shorter until you folks start asking, "What, when did his hair become so short?" "When did he trim his hair?" I'll thus ensure that (my short haircut) feels natural."
The BTS ARMY is anxious to find out who the next member will be to join the military.
