 - Sakshi Post

On Spotify, Jungkook from BTS has accomplished a new milestone. He has achieved 1.2 billion streams with only four tracks, showing his huge worldwide influence and sound source power.

Even without a solo album, Jungkook achieved the landmark of 1.2 billion streams on Spotify in a remarkable period of 487 days. This accomplishment shows his extraordinary talent and affirms his position as a rising star in the music industry.

Prior to this, Jungkook had already broken the record for the quickest solo K-pop artist to surpass 1.1 billion streams in just 453 days. After surpassing this milestone, he added an additional 100 million streams in about a month.

Four significant songs can be seen on Jungkook's Spotify account. Among them are "Dreamers," the soundtrack for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, "Stay Alive," a solo song for a webtoon's OST, "Left and Right," a collaboration with Charlie Puth, and a duet performance of "I'm in Love" on "King of Mask Singer."

Notably, Jungkook received recognition from the UK's Guinness World Records for his outstanding accomplishment of achieving 1 billion streams in the fastest time for a K-pop solo artist with only three songs—"Dreamers," "Stay Alive," and "Left and Right."

Additionally, Jungkook's Spotify account attracted over 7.6 million subscribers, breaking the previous record for an Asian solo artist's fastest-growing following. Jungkook took the top rank as the "Most listened-to K-Pop solo artist in the world" on Spotify's year-end settlement for 2022.

Fans excitedly anticipate another wonderful record-breaking performance from Jungkook on Spotify as he prepares to release a solo album in July.
